I have a EL120 with 1800 watt element...it will not get over 200 degrees F and is not due to a thermostat malfunction. Power is on constant 120V for over 30 mins but just wont get any hotter and is not...

You also have a high limit switch, which could be bad, or as you indicated, the elements could be bad as well? Do you know if the high limit switch is working? Do you have a reset button on yours?
If so, press that first and then try it....Thanks, Susan Restaurant Equipment Outlet-888-542-5959

I have a cecilware FMS-40 deep fryer and the pilot light does not stay on. I just changed the high limit switch and now it will not stay on. Should I change the thermocoupling next? The wires that run down...

The next thing to replace would be the thermostat... That's all that's left...I believe they have a special screwdriver at Lowe's that will make this job alot easier... Or another hardware type store...
Good luck...however if that doesn't work, call Cecilware directly and ask for the warranty/parts dept. They should be happy to help you trouble shoot their product... and direct you to a dealer that sells their parts too.

Hello, I have a cecilware fryer that looks exactly the same as the FMB 40 model.I don't know the model # because all info has been previously scratched off the label. The pilot light won't stay lit to light...

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM YOURSELF. You should hire an authorized service company to evaluate and fix the fryer.

Cecilware had a well known problem with their thermopile F178A. There was a recall on it last year. There are a few that are still in the field. It's possible your fryer might have one installed in it.

Their website doesn't have the manual posted. You will need to call them. 800-695-4500

Hi I have got a cecilware deep fat fryer

Sounds like you need a gas regulator in the main line.

Either that or you are using a natural gas fryer on propane which is a no-no if not converted properly.

Heating element burnt out

Hello. Here is a link to the manufacture:

http://www.cecilware.com/replacement_parts.aspx

It looks like they have files with the parts listed, but are broken down by model #. To fully insure you are getting the correct part, you may want to call them.

Hope that helped, and thank you.
