Question about Samsung SGH-D900 Cellular Phone
PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a unique eight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PIN number to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are then given 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is entered after the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and will require a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider.
PUK codes can be obtained through the following ways - The PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack. If you do not have this then - Please contact your phone service provider.
Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once you give them your account details and they have confirmed your identity. For details to obtain the PUK code for the SIM card, please click on this link and follow my instructions.

With working sim in phone, go to keypad and enter *2767*3855# and wait, this will fully reset phone so ensure you back up anything on it first, during repowering up remove battery and insert sim from other network then turn back on, phone should now be sim lock free. As always this is at your own risk. This will likely work with other Samsung phones

The PUK code is unique to each SIM card and carrier. If it is asking for a PUK code then this means the SIM card unlock code was entered wrong 3 times. Call you phone carrier and they will be able to tell you the PUK code for your SIM card.

here are actually two codes that you can actually use to reset the password. Below are these codes. Please dial them up and have the problem solved.
This mean the security code will be reset to 0000. This will allow you to format the phone easily.
