I want to know, how do I change my expertise, without becoming an expert? Right now my expertise says camcorders. I didn't become an expert though, because I'd probably get in trouble with my mom. I want to change it to: cameras and ipods. I don't know anything about camcorders. I don't even know if I'm spelling the word right? I know you'll probably say just go to edit profile. I have, but you have to become an expert to change it. Is there another way to change it without becoming an expert. All I want to do is help people, because it makes me feel good inside. I feel silly and stupid, having 152 solutions that say I'm good with camcorders, under the camera and ipod problems.
Pleae help me.

- I'm sorry robshow, but I clearly stated in my problem on the 4th line: "I know you'll probably say just go to edit profile. I have, but you have to become an expert to change it." Next time, please read more carefully.

- Thank You Lauren. I now know I have an Expert's account. Is there any way you (FixYa) can delete it? I don't want to get in trouble for getting money from a website.

- Hi Lauren. What do I need to send in the e-mal? I don't get what your saying. If you delete my account, will it erase all of my solutions and other things?
Hi Joe. You actually do have an Expert's account, that is the only reason that you have any Areas of Expertise on your profile in the first place. So Rob's advice was accurate. If you'll go to your Profile Page and click on Edit Profile, you can select from the drop-down menus. If you have any further questions or issues, feel free to email me.

Our snow blower (Troy-Bilt Squa 5525) has had problems running after just a couple of uses each Winter, almost like it gets too clogged up from heavier snow. It cost $100 each time for someone to look at it and fix. Is there a way we can fix it, clear something out of it, etc. to save money? Nancy

I own a 1945 Model N Briggs & Stratton Engine With a Twopiece fol-jet Carb.I Need to get a diagram on how the Air vein gov. hooks to the carburator. Can you help me find what Im looking for to download ?? This is an Antique Engine & I Have the 1945 Illustrated parts list book That covers, Types 205500-205800. However,The book does not Illust-rate in detail exzactly How all the link rods & springs are attached. I ve already rebuilt this engine but I never seen how these parts were assembled correctly. It was partially taken apart when I bought it as a basket case. I cant get it hooked up right .all the parts are there.

How do I answer my own question on FixYa.com? I asked about a mod to a dishwasher, then found the instructions I need are included with the part. When I try to provide a solution to my question, all I can do is add a comment. It's still listed as unsolved.
