Question about Whirlpool LTE6234D Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer
Washer part wont move just makes buzz like sound. however it will fill water, and drain. just wont move. please someone help me i am a woman and dont know where to begin with this. i can get someone to put broken part in for me just need to know whats broke and what part to buy.
Your washer most likely has a broken drive coupling. If broken the washer will fill with water and drain, but the motor spins without driving the transmission (no agitate or spin). The part is common to all whirlpool washers made in the last 20 years and is readily available at all major appliance part stores. It is possible to change this part yourself but much less hassle to get it changed by a pro This coupling kit is used between the motor and the transmission on direct drive washers with no belt. This is the newer version and is made with new metal sleeves for added strength.

first access the tech sheet and run any diagnostics it shows for the machine and if this passes, then check/change the fill switch on the control panel along with fill tube from the wash tub base if kinked or plugged

Not sure about the dryer but there are a couple things that could cause the no draining issue.
You could have a leak or block in your pressure hose. Basically there is a thin, clear tube inside the cabin that attaches to the tub on the lower right side. If this has a leak or is clogged then the washer has problems filling and draining.
The other possible problem is a broken lid switch. This is an easy fix. Basically, the mechanical mechanism that goes down when you close the lid does not work properly so when it comes time to drain, the washer actually thinks the lid is open.
For both of these you would need to open cabin. I posted instructions for that here:
