Powers on , wont boot and cant insert a disc to get it to boot.

To eject an optical disc at startup, hold down the mouse key on a wired mouse immediately after turning the iMac on with the power button. Keep it held down until the disc ejects, which should occur within two minutes. If you hear the disc trying to eject but failing, it is physically jammed in the drive and will have to be removed by a professional technician.

Your not supposed to open the console to eject. just press the eject button and the disc will slide out by itself.

Disc won't eject.

When you hit eject do you hear it attempting to push out the disc? It may be blocked by something. If it is not attempting to push out the disc then something isn't registering with the eject button. In this case, power down the wii, unplug all plugs from the back, wait 90 seconds or so, plug in just the power plug and hit the eject button (before hitting power or anything else). If it still does not try to eject then either the button is broken or the disc drive in the wii has died.

It is still probably under warranty from Nintendo, they can fix it for free for you. If anything, give them a call at:

Eject

get a technician to look at it or take the wii apart yourself if you're brave enough to see if anything is jammed. nintendo may fix it if its a fault in a mechanism but otherwise you'll need to see a seperate technician
