Hi
My laptop msi 6837D Intel Core 2 DUO CPU 2.0 GHZ, TYPE T5750
WAS PROBLEM WITH VERY NOISE FAN.
FOUR SCREW UNDER LAPTOP NEED TAKE OUT.
ON LITTLE GAP SHAPE U PUT SHORT SCREDRIVER AND TAKE OUT PLASTIC COVER, this plastic cover is having around little clips/ ears.
you WILL BE SEE FAN.
TAKE TWEEZER AND TRY CLEAN FAN.
FAN HAVING 4x very little screw- use magnetic scredriver.
Between sheetmetal and plastic insert 9cm long plastic pipe already fixed with WD 40 spray( or Astral ,...) , push him to side where is axis for fan , bottom side and spray only 0.5 s. Turn laptop back to normal position and oil will be slowly fallen down, still turning fan with finger for little while. Try again second time and will be enough oil for fan. Dont spray from air have to be long pipe touching axis with bearings.
IF is still very noisy the FAN so probably is too much worn and have to be replaced by new.

03 pt cruiser turbo - cooling fan is noisy.

Most electric cooling fans are noisy. They move large volumes of air to cool the engine. You will hear this noise most predominately when the fan spools up when you are stopped at a traffic light. As long as it is working and cooling the engine I wouldn't worry about it.

My microwave heats up for 3 seconds and then shuts off

Since you didn't mention the model number, I have to be kind of general.

This may be due to the internal cooling fan's not working or a "noisy magnetron".

For more on noisy magnetrons, see this FixYa solution even if your brand and model number is different.

My whirlpool oven (model rbs305) makes a loud noise whenever it is on. I can't figure out if it's the fan, or just extremely loud.

Hello,

I would suspect that the blower is noisy its what i would expect to potentially make noise ...if fits in the back of the control panel and it comes on to cool the control board each time the oven is on.

In case it turns out to be the blower thats noisy the part number for it is W10176670

One fan has become unbearably noisy. Need replacement for the processor cooling fan.

Hello there karlskad8.

Here's your geek-steer ...

Do NOT pass go, do NOT collect $200 ... you need to IMMEDIATELY replace that particular fan before you fry your CPU chip! Stop using it until you do!

If you plan on do-it-yourself, refer to your user's manual to possibly get replacement part order info. Otherwise, call a local PC shop and ask for the info.

I prefer http://www.coolerguys.com/ for all my fan related needs.

Good luck, and please do post back ...

  • to provide clarification or feedback,
  • if you have ANY further questions.

GE Side-By-Side Refrigerator Model GSS 23QSTA SS

Apparently the digital read out sensor is bad. 45°F is to high for safe food storage. The fact that the milk spoils is another factor which speaks on its own that there is a temperature control problem. There is no "defroster fan". There are two fans in the unit. One is the air circulation fan located inside the freezer compartment and the other is the condenser fan for cooling the refrigeration system. If you had called for service in the first year it would be covered by warranty with the exception of the service call charge. After the first year ends electrical and control problems are not covered. If the evaporator fan in the freezer is noisy there is something wrong with it. It could be the source of your whole problem.
