Try taking out the battery and plugging it up and turning it on. if it works just replace the battery. if not the phone is just fried..

Pantech matrix got wet wont charge

your battery is probably bad. take out the battery and plug it up and try to turn it on without the battery in. if it works just replace the battery. if not then your phone is fried.

Pantech Matrix Drops calls

My daughter had a Pantech and to be honest they really ****. She had the same problems, I am an Electronic and Electrical Registered Engineer, and after taking it apart, testing the circuitry, and several other things, I sent it to a cell repair shop, who owed me money and we bartered it out . The official conclusion was a bad CPU, that costs almost as much as the phone. I layed it behind my tire and ran over it. Seriously!

I dropped my pantech matrix in the water and the screen is white around the edges but i can see the screen

you need to first take the phone and have it service and the screen replaced so take it to a mobile repair shop.

Dropped Pantech Matrix in water

it's probably going to be really expensive to repair it if there is major damage. but i got in the pool with my matrix in my pocket and i dried it out and it wont turn on with the battery in it(it's bad i know) but if i take it out and plug it up it works fine but i cannot call, or text. it wont connect to a network. i dont know whether or not i should invest in a battery which isn't that pricey at all or just get a new phone. i'm just not sure if a new battery will fix the problem.
