Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Everytime I tried to print the paper get jam

Make sure all surfaces are clean and your paper has static electricity removed. you can do this by fanning it over a grounded surface. Check the paper feed rollers to be sure they are clean and have no sticky areas. Be sure no to put too many pages in at a time. Try one page at at time first to test and see if all goes well then proceed to try several sheets, about 10 or 12.

Says 'Paper jam' but no paper in tray

You may wish to try checking the paper path of the printer. Open the back door of the printer where you would open it to let an envelope come out, and check underneath the rollers in the main cartridge area. Sometimes, small pieces of paper may get stuck and it trips the paper jam detection circuit. As this is an inkjet printer, there shouldn't be too much going on in there as it's not as complex as a laser printer is.

False paper jam

Try cleaning the feed rollers with some alcohol on a lint free cloth. You may have some debris on the rollers.

My lexmark t520 wont print it says paper jam but there isn't one?

Hi Melissa:
I think that you problem is feed rollers. If you take the paper tray out and look inside you will see two white rubber paper feed rollers. If you feel them and they are smooth, then they need to be replaced. They should feel ruff.
