In order to remove the Danze handle from this particular model grasp the handle of the valve and then the body of the valve and turn the body counter clockwise in order to remove.

Hope this helps.

If you don't have a supply house near you that carries parts for the Danze products you can go to danze.com and order them there.

We were trying to stop a leak in a danze songle handle shower faucet now the hot water won't turn off whar do we do?

you need a new cartridge if its fairly new. if its an older faucet it will have to be replaced, usually the hot water side warps the fixture and it leaks there nothing you can do about it except to replace it.

Dripping bath faucet circa 1985. Can't ID model but appears to have 2 screws holding front of casting to main body for disassembly . Faceplate is square in shape and black in color HELP!

  • 1 Close the hot and cold water valves in the cabinet beneath the sink to shut the water supply off to the bath faucet.
  • 2 Remove the bath faucet's handle to access the valve cartridge. The faucet handle is removed by first detaching the handle's insert cap using the tip of a screwdriver or utility knife to expose the handle screw. Remove the handle screw with a Phillips screwdriver, then pull the handle off the valve cartridge stem.
  • 3 Loosen and remove the cartridge valve nut with an adjustable wrench. Some faucet models retain the valve cartridge with a snap ring and are removed with snap ring pliers.
  • 4 Pull the old valve cartridge out of the bath faucet base, using pliers.
  • 5 Insert the new replacement valve cartridge into the faucet housing and replace the nut or snap ring removed in Step 3, using an adjustable wrench or snap ring pliers.
  • 6 Reinstall the faucet's handle onto the valve cartridge post, then secure the handle's screw, using a screwdriver.
  • 7 Replace the insert cap into the handle to cover the handle's screw hole.
  • 8 Turn on the hot and cold water valves beneath the sink to restore the water supply.

I have Danze, single handle shower faucets that were professionally installed in 2005. One shower faucet has not hot water, just cold and when the handle is turned on all the way to hot, there is an itty...

Replace valve canister- no construction- just remove after taking time to shut off water- a few screws and the job takes 15 minutes. I take for granted you have good water hot/cold to the fixture. This fix will cure most temperature balance problems.
The single lever system is a EZ care system. Note the canister can malfunction faster when exposed to untreated hard water.

Faucet is leaking from the cold water line inside the faucet. it is a danze lazio pull out kitchen faucet

    Hello
First shut off water to faucet. There should be a allen screw that holds the faucet together near the top back of the handle, lossen this and pull top off.

Next take some pliers and tighten down the lock nuts to compress the washers,do this gently.

    Reassemble,water should stop leaking.

I have been told there is a way to adjust bath tap temperature under the bath is this true? Thanks

is this a standard bath tub?? if so the answer is no only pressure from hot/cold usually thru the access panel other wise you will have to crank up the water heater unless you have an on-demand water heater located near your access panel. which raises a second question. your faucet? is it a single handle for both hot/cold or two individual handles? if its a single handle try opening up your hot water valve in the access panel to allow for more hot water flow and slightly decresing your cold water valve hope this helps good luck!!!!

Behind the handle there is a dial to adjust water temp cold and hot you can remove it and replace it a 1/4 turn til you can get both cold and hot. It is a anti scald it may have been put in wrong.

Make sure the cold water line is not blocked coming to valve and is open .

    Leaking single lever kitchen tap

on most of the single handle faucets there is an erasure like button ( may have a hot and cold blue and red indicator or be silver ) usually located right under the faucet arm on the manifold chrome sleeve or back behind the arm or it could have a large ring nut over the doam of the lever take your hand and feel the area that covers the area where the spout arm swivels and feel for the button or take your fingers and fel the to of the lever doam

if you find the button just take a sharp screw driver( be sure to plug the drain holes and turn hot and cold water off under sink) pry the button off and use a hex wrench and loosten

if no button then there has to be a large nut on top you may seee two grooves oppsoite each other wheich would mean a special tool

use an adjustable wrench (put cloth ofer chrome to protect and turn counter clock wise( the ring nut will not be very thick

after removing you should be able to replace the cartridge

    good luck
