You can try cleaning the white strip, and darkening the black line on the end with a sharpie. Most of the time this requires a new CCD.

    For clarification....

A charge-coupled device (CCD) is an analog shift register, that enables the transportation of analog signals (electric charges) through successive stages (capacitors) controlled by a clock signal. Charge-coupled devices can be used as a form of memory or for delaying samples of analog signals. Today, they are most widely used in arrays of photoelectric light sensors, to serialize parallel analog signals. Not all image sensors use CCD technology; for example, CMOS chips are also commercially available.

"CCD" refers to the way that the image signal is read out from the chip. Under the control of an external circuit, each capacitor can transfer its electric charge to one or other of its neighbors. CCDs are used in digital photography and astronomy (particularly in photometry), sensors, electron microscopy, medical fluoroscopy, optical and UV spectroscopy and high speed techniques such as lucky imaging.

The lens of the machine (CCD) is not "seeing" correctly the white strip located underneath the exposure glass, this may be because of accumulation of dirt in optical section+lens. OR/AND the exposure lamp is dirty/blown (or its fuse).
Laser bad is very unlikely but still possible.
Check al these out and let us know what resulted. A full cleaning service should be the first step.

Hi.

You cannot upgrade the memory on the copier as the memory is in-built into the system thus giving you no chance of upgrading.

I have purchased an AOC 22" monitor to connect to my laptop >>>>>i have connected it but it does not display. What is wrong.

Depending on the laptop. Most have a key on the keyboard to toggle external display. Usually, you have to hold the function key [FN] then push the external display toggle.

My brand new acer aspire one computer will not turn on. I have tried everything, taking the battery out, the light turns green on the power button but it will not turn on. HELP

Try pressing Function F5.
Since you say the power light does come on it could be that the display somehow got set to use an external display like another monitor or projector.
This toggles between internal and external display

Brand new Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5868 laptop display screen has gone black, even though the computer is on.

Since your laptop is brand new , you may not be familure with it's function keys , FN

Sometimes the users accidentaly presses the FN and the F5 monitor function key at the same time.
which effectively turns the notebooks display off.

D in the image below is the FN function key
and the monitor function key could be F5 , it will have a little monitor symbol on it.

When they are pressed together it will turn the notebooks display off and enable any VGA monitor connected to it's VGA ports. when pressed again , they will turn of the VGA port and turn on the notebooks display.

Error code l6-10 on a sharp ar-m350u

I can't find a table of Sharp error codes.

Do all documents have this problem? Then I would contact an authorized Sharp repair center.

If there's only one document that does this, it could be a corrupt or very large file that the printer can't handle. Try sending a single page of the document instead of the whole thing.

Isn't the AR-M350U a "Corporate" multifunction device? Then your vendor should be providing warranty support or service contract support for it. Check with the vendor before getting involved with another company.
