Setting the right lanuage

HP PHOTOSMART A520 SERIES PRINTERWHEN SETTING IT UP JUST BY PLUGGING IT IT TO POWER SUPPLY, TRIED TO SET IT UP AND IT HAS REGIDTERED IN GERMAN HOW CAN I CHANGE IT TO ENGLISH

Normal 0 You have to reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. During installation you will be asked what language and then select ENGLISH. Then follow the instructions.
But first do this.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

How to set my ho photosmart c4600 series to work


Your photosmart c4600 series printer is a USB printer. It is designed only to work with USB cable. However you can use HP Wireless Upgrading kit to print wirelesly.

My HP Photosmart C6280 will not scan documents to my computer. I have it connected to USB port on my wireless PC. I try scanning thru solution center and that does not work. I have turned off the computer,...


Solution

For Windows XP

*Go to Control Panel > Printers > HP Photosmart c6200 series > Right Click > select Delete

*Load the CD / Downloaded Software for HP c6200 series

*Select add a device > select usb (if preferred)/ wireless

*Wait for the installation to finished and repair the settings.

*Restart PC/ Try Scanning Again.

If it doesnt work, I suggest try uninstalling and reinstalling the software completely using the CD itself.

Hello there You can still try this Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Error message 0x610000f6 won't re-set.

>while printer is on unplug power cord at the back of it, press and hold # and 6 buttons on your printer, while holding the buttons plug back power cord, printer should initialise you can release the buttons after 10 secs or until you see semi full reset on the display, if the printer will not automatically turn back on press the power button, if it ask for you to set the region and laguage again then you have done the reset successfully
>this hardware reset should clear the error otherwise better contact hp

Step-1: Connect the All-in-One directly to power outlet
--------------------------------------------------------------

The surge protector may not supply sufficient power to the printer. To isolate the issue please remove the power plug of the printer from the surge protector and connect it to the wall jack directly.

Being a All-in-One Machine it needs full voltage to be supplied while initializing Surge protectors supply suppressed voltage to the printer which leads to unexpected issues in the printer

After performing the steps, please perform the steps below.

Step-2: Power Cycle the All-in-One
---------------------------------------

Follow the steps below to power cycle your all-in-one:

1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Disconnect the USB/Ethernet cable from the All-in-One and also disconnect power cable from All-in-One and also from wall outlet.

2. Wait 30 seconds.

3. Plug in the power cable to All-in-One and also to wall outlet.

4. Check for the functionality.

After performing the above steps if issue persists, please perform the below steps.


Step-3: Reset to Factory defaults
-------------------------------------

A partial reset will return user settings to factory defaults. On some models, language and country/region settings are also reset. Perform a partial reset of the product by following the instructions below.
  1. Unplug the power cord from the unit.
  2. Do the following according to your specific product:
    • HP Officejet G55 and G55xi series: Press and hold Minus ( - ) and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP Officejet G and K series:
    • Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP Officejet T series: Press and hold * and 8 while plugging in the power cord.
    • HP PSC 700 series: Press and hold Cancel and the Left Arrow while plugging in the power cord.
  3. While still holding the buttons down, plug the power cord back in. Release the buttons after the all-in-one begins to initialize. After RESET displays and the printer goes back to a ready state, the reset is complete.
  4. Try the print job again to see if this step resolved the issue.

Prints extra blank page for every one page of printed material


Ok, I too have HP Photosmart 7280 and it was spit'g out a blank page after each print page.
I went into the Control Panel/Printers - Right click on the HP Photosmart 7200 series icon and choose delete. Don't worry...just delete it.
Right above (Vista) click on Add a Printer - it's going to ask you if you want to add a local printer which is connected via USB connection or if you are set up wireless then choose Network
It will find your printer click on the printer hit next - then this is the most important step
It will ask you to find the manufacturer it shows Hewlett-Packard and underneath it shows HP - Do not click on HP - you'll have the same problem with that driver - choose Hewlett-Packard and find this driver HP Photosmart C7200 series Version 61.71.244.0 [3/23/07]
Hopefully they are all digitally signed with this information.
Click on that driver and click next - then click on replace the current driver and click next.
Print a test page and problem should be solved. Hope it helped!
