SOURCE: ilo flat panel tv model

Hello,

The reason your television is not powering on is simply because the storm has damaged a component in the unit of the television. The most likely component that might have been damaged is one or more of the components on the power panel.

The solution is for you to disassemble the television and assess the power supply board, you will find the bad capacitors, then replace them and the television will be in good condition once again. But be sure to have checked the main power socket to know if it is not damaged yet before proceeding with the capacitor replacement.

hope this helped.

ILO TV won't turn on

You will need to have the set professionally diagnosed. You could either have a faulty power supply or main board. You could also try unplugging the set for a bit and plugging it back in. I doubt it will solve your problem but it is worth a try.

Norcent Technologies LM173SB 17 in. Flat Panel LCD Monitor Won't work with Windows 7

I ran into this very problem myself, the issue is that the monitor only supports 1280x1024 resolution MAX. Windows 7 cannot detect this monitor and so it does not know it is limited to this resolution, so Windows 7 is putting out a higher resolution at startup, thus the monitor tries to autodect for a second but then just goes blank because it doesn't understand (and can't display) the signal. The only solution is to use another monitor and adjust the resolution to 1280x1024 or lower, but I run into a problem where as soon as you remove the other monitor and restart, WIndows tries to "plug & play" the monitor all over again at startup. So you're best bet really is a newer monitor unfortunately, I only use my old Norcent monitor with my XP computer.

Power in house went out. T.V. wont turn on.

Did you have a surge protector on the TV? Have you tried unplugging it for 5 minutes, if not try that. If it still won't work contact your local electrical power provider and start a claim for damages from the power outage.

Power won't come on

No power signal lights appear? If no power lights try to check the fuse inside your TV.remove the back cover to see the fuse location. It is located besides the power supply.check it if busted, then replace the same value of fuse.Unplug first before removing the cover to avoid electric shock.thanks!!

Hi! I have been through this situation on a 26" model of ILO LCD TV. I think the problem you have is the same, but could you clarify one thing for me? Is your model an ILO-3200, or is it an ILO-32HD? I suspect 32HD, because I know the problem exists on the 26HD models which are basically very similar in design and say manufactured by Initial Technologies on the back of the set. Does your unit list this manufacturer on the back? Let me know. Thanks!
