Question about HP Compaq Evo Notebook N600c

Blue screen of death

My Compaq Evo has the blue screen of death. Off and on for 2 months, now it is dead. Is the hard drive the usual suspect? If so, does anybody have a diagram for taking out the old one?

It is the HD thats is the cause of you blue screen of death. To fix this problem you must run a scan disk in windows and let it repair the problem. If you cant repair it through windows you will have to use your windows disk. Boot Pc up with windows disk in CD Rom and fit F-12 select boot to dvd or cd rom option. Select repair windows, then you should get a black screen with comand line like a DOS screen. Type in C:/Fixdisk.
