MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. Google search for free mp3 music files and
download them to your computer. Then connect the USB cable that came with your
player, connect it to your player and then plug it into the USB port on your
computer. The computer will see the player as an external storage device, then
copy the mp3 music files to your player. You can convert your
CDs for free and copy them to your MP3 player. Please click on this link and

The nameless mp3 player that you have is probably not capable of playing DRM-protected songs. Double-check the songs that you have downloaded from Limewire, and see if the 3 songs that you ARE able to play are in mp3 format. If so, only transfer songs in mp3 format to the player. DRM-encrypted WMA's and iTunes (AAC) songs will not work.
Each mp3 player can only play songs in certain formats. A Philips GoGear, for instance, can't read iTunes format. Some players cannot read DRM-encrypted WMA files, which is what most music services use. When you load a song in the wrong format to an mp3 player, the song appears to transfer, but the mp3 player won't actually play it. The best workaround for this problem is to only load songs that are in true mp3 format - they are accepted by 99% of digital audio players. If you give us your manufacvturer/model #, and music service name, we can tell you exactly which formats your player plays.
I had the same problem. The songs that won't play are probably MP4 files and the shaker only plays MP3 files. You need to change the file format of the songs on the shaker to MP3 files. I downloaded "Media Coder" which was free and it converted all the songs on the shaker that wouldn't play to MP3 files and they play now. Google "Media Coder" and download the free program, it is very easy to use. I had the songs converted in about 2 minutes. Make sure the shaker is plugged into computer so that you can choose the files on the shaker to convert. Hope this helps.
Karbinas I know what you are asking. you got the music off the internet, this was music that was secure music. It will play on your computer but it will not allow you to download it to mp3's it will also not let you allow you to burn it. sorry it is called bootleg music everyone has some but just does not know it. There is a program to show you the songs allow but it cost more than it is worth. If you like a song that is not able that way find it in the store and download the cd it's cool get friends go in on it. That is why I tell people to buy the player that have sd cards so they can trade with friends. DGW
