Hold "set" key until "set exch" appears. Then hit "tax+" key and enter
in correct amount. After amount set then hit "set" key once again to complete set up.

Try that, seems to work on a few Casio models

I have a Canon Model MP18D11 and I do not have a manual and cannot seem to get the sales tax button to reset. Someone here at work was cleaning everything and wiped out all my settings, Help please!!

Go to the 3rd chrome button on the top of the keys marked as GT.The chrome button should be over the "on" mark Push the button to the right so that it is over the RATE mark. Key in the tax rate you want. Push the chrome button back to on. It should now give you the correct tax rate increase or decrease by hitting the TAX+ or TAX - buttons.
