It is actually the MSVCP71.dll, the runtime library of VC++ of .NET

U need to install the runtime libraries of VC++, you might have accidentally uninstalled them with some other software. :)

You can get them from the net, through the microsoft website. OR Try reinstalling the realplayer.

One more info, if it is the "MSVP71.dll", instead of the real one, which has gone missing, check your antivirus log for anything caught recently with that name :)

If i try to download something, like a video,it says connect media to save destination

You do not have a default program for your video viewing or that particular video requires a specific program to be used. Ensure that your computer has a video player such as Windows Media Player if you are using a Windows OS or that you have Quick Time if you are using a Mac OS. If these programs are already installed, then you may want to ensure that they are set to be the default program for that particular video.
Download the video, then right click the video and click the option that says "Properties". When the box appears, click open with and select either Quick Time or Windows Media Player. To avoid doing this for every video, follow the instructions below:
  • Open Windows Explorer by right-clicking the Start button, and then click Explore.
  • Click a folder that contains a file of the type that you want Windows to open in a program that you select.
  • Right-click the file and, depending on the programs installed on your computer, complete one of the following steps:
    • Click Open With to choose the program that you want.
    • Point to Open With, and then click Choose Program to choose the program that you want.
  • The Open With dialog box is displayed. Use one of the following methods to select the program that you want to use for this file type:
    • In the Programs list, click the program that you want to use.
    • Click Browse, locate and then click the program that you want to use, and then click Open.
    • Click Look for the appropriate program on the Web to browse the Internet for the program that you want to use.
  • Click to select the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file check box if it is not selected.
  • Click OK.

Firefox is a great piece of open source software. It seems it wasn'ta bug after all but a piece of malware that affected most major webbrowsers.

If this doesn't work its an other mailware/spyware program on their that may be stoping you. Download avast home version for free at
    or use other virus/spyware software.

    BINKW32.DLL problem

    This may help.
I do know how to solve the binkw32.dll issue, but I really feel you should fork out the $20.00-$25.00 just for even saying you downloaded this illegally.
It's cheap and you won't get fined and or thrown in jail for downloading it.

    Windows explorer issues

uninstall PowerDesk or My PowerDesk. Some malware camouflage themselves as PDShExt.dll, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the PDShExt.dll process on your pc whether it is a pest or the real deal. If neither program list above is installed, download as run the program.

System says that program not responding

From what you put on this, it seems that you have a KERNAL32 error.
    Fault Module Name: kernel32.dll

the application being Windows Media Player
    Application Name: wmplayer.exe

I've researched this thru microsoft and the best thing I can find

Go to Start - > Type Run in the Search Box - > type regsvr32wmp.dll

What operating system are you using? Because the KERNEL32.DLL file is a 32-bit dynamic link library file that is found in Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Millenium Edition (ME).
