The television was on and I have directv, tivo, etc...
We lost power in our condo. When the power was turned backed on, everything came on, except the tv. We can't turn it on, it makes the noise, but only the stand by light flashes. I can't find my manual. I've changed the batteries in the remote, I've unplugged several times, nothing is working.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I can see good video, but I hear no audio with my XWH200 adapters? Published 11/21/2011 06:46 AM Updated 11/21/2011 02:26 PM While most HDMI sources work with good audio and video, we have a compatibility issue with audio from a few specific products (eg, DirecTV HD DVR satellite set-top box, DISH Networks satellite set-top-box, and TiVo Premiere XL cable set-top-box). If you are experiencing problems with no audio or muted audio with one of your HDMI sources, then please try changing the audio settings on your problematic HDMI source to PCM or LPCM. Then turn off the TV, remote power from the WirelessHD adapters, and power off the HDMI source. Now power everything back on. If you are still experiencing no audio then please write down the model number of your HDMI source with no audio and contact VIZIO customer support.
Press and hold the MUTE and SELECT keys until the green light under the DIRECTV position flashes twice, then release both keys.
Using the number keys, enter the 5-digit code. If performed correctly, the green light under the DIRECTV position flashes twice.
Aim the remote at your DIRECTV Receiver and press the PWR key once. The DIRECTV Receiver should turn off; if it does not, repeat steps 3 and 4, trying each code for your brand until you find the correct code.
Your TIVO DirectTV RC65 remote control is now setup to control your DVR. A digital copy of your remote's owners manual is available here. Instructions for the RC65 Code Search function to find compatible remote codes are here.
You can buy a used DirecTV with Tivo. You probably had a Hughes SD-DVR40 or SD-DVR80 before. The used model needs to be transferable to your account (which means it can't be leased, it has to have no outstanding charges on the previous account, etc). And you have to buy a new DirecTV card.
If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area or in San Jose, write to firstname.lastname@example.org and they should be able to help you out.
automatic code search. this may take a while to do but it works. hold the directv button and tv power until the red light stays on. while its on press the channel up button (this will search for a code). release and test with the tv power button. if the tv does not turn off, press the channel up button again and test with the tv power. when the tv finally goes off, press the enter/last button (bottom right corner of the remote) to store the code
Try this: On the Tivo remote press and hold the TV Power button and the Directv/TIVO button at the same time. Hold both buttons down for about 4 seconds or until remote light stays red. Then press the channel up button until the tv turns off. You may press the button over 100 times. You need to go slow. When the TV turns off press the enter button (or select button).
