I also found that sometimes it may be your needle. I know it sounds crazy, but mine did that and I had put in a Schmietz needle and it didn't work--bought Janome needles #11 and worked fine.

What Wiz said - check that stuff.  just a tip, often times when the timing is truly off on a machine, you can swing the needle to the left and sew with it in that position, it will likely produce a nice even stitch.

Are you checking the simple things such as making sure you have the presser foot up when you thread and the tensions set between 4 and 6, bobbin in the correct way round and tension enough to pull the thread through with some resistence.

The bobbin thread on my Janome 9000 is showing in the stitching. The bobbin thread pulls over to the left when sewing a zig or multi zig zag stitch. What to adjust?

Needle will not pick up bobbin thread

Sounds like the timing isn't quite right. Your best bet is to go have it serviced and timed.

Clear bobbin out of thread

Memory Craft has a bobbin winder on top of the machine.  It works beautifully, but wind it on slowly for better sewing function.

My sewing machine is not picking up thread from the bobbin

Your timing is out and will have to be put in to have it adjusted.

Janome 9000

I have a Janome 9000, was sewing and broke needle, replaced and broke another. I didn't have machine threaded, took out bobbin and would sew a little and stop saying thread broke. I took off top plate and started machine again, sew a little and stop saying thread broke. So I took out bobbin case and sewed again and stopped repeating the message. Everything looks OK, bobbin case and top plate. I guess I want to know if the timing could be off or do you think it is the computer part of the machine...Should I take it to the Sewing Machine Shop??

Janome Memor Craft 10001 bobbin tension

Hi,

There is an adjustment on the side of the black bobbin case.

Remove the needle plate, to gain access to the case. Lift it out, noting how it is positioned! On the side of it , there are two screws, one is the adjustment screw - its the one that sits out more. To increase tension, turn it clockwise 1/8th of a turn, reassemble and test sew. (make sure the top thread tension is back to where it should be). Repeat if required. DO NOT adjust too much at a time!

Good luck
