How is the suggested connection change accomplished?

    Current setting is 1024 x 768.

Video card is Generic PnP Monitor on NVIDIA GeForce 7350 LE.

    Thanks.

I'm still in need of a solution for this buzzing and ghosting on my monitor. (Note: I took the first monitor back and got a new one; it does the same thing.)

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, have you tried the alternative mode of connection? If yes, does the problem persists? Your monitor has both DVI and analog VGA, whichever you are using, pls try connecting using the other.

Or you could try lowering from the 1680X1050 resolution, and see if it improves.

Additionally, pls postback the video card that you are using.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa. Happy New Year.

If you are currently using DVI switch to VGA or vice versa.

You could of course try the X2GEN MW22U with another computer and determine if the problem persists. If yes, monitor issue, most likely video processing/interface. If not, then video card issue. Might there be a spare video card or even perhaps a built-in one that you could try.

    Cheers.

    there are 2 chances --

    1) the problem is in the display card of your computer
if yes you need a new one.

    2) there is some problem in monitor display IC needs a repair.

Its not clear what kind of tv you have but it appears to be older rear projection tv with three picture tube. This problem does occur due to the convergence board going bad. Needs professional help to repair unless you know a lot about soldering ICs. Check out at www.fixurtvs.com for more answers on this problem, repairs and costs.
