Question about Pool & Spa Pumps
I have removed my filter and still exp low flow. But when putting my hand on the suction side I have a good pull. I do not have a leaf trap. Pulled the heater and piping is clear. What should I check next.
Split the pump. if you don't have a leaf/pump basket then your pump inpeller is propably dirty, you'll need a very thin screwdriver to clean the holes inside the impeller

A clogged impeller is the most common problem with diminished flow. It happens when the pump basket is cracked or missing. Debris is allowed into and clogs the impeller. Remove the six bolts holding the motor onto the wet end and clean out the impeller. Should have better flow.
