Ryobi gas powered machines will not start if they are low on oil, or if the oil is bad. I would change the oil and make sure it is filled to the proper level. Yes this will stop the plug from sparking, it has a safety switch in the crankcase.
I take help from online websites that have this service like helping in repair some like reliab le-store have instant help.. others are a bit slow which I don't prefer... rest is up to u.. U can also get free manuals
The RG-6900 Ryobi generator does not have (or need) a battery. It is a manual type with cord start. Voltages and specifications may differ slightly depending on which country the unit is intended for (110V vs 220V). The same applies to warranty and servicing agents.
Send your email address to eggie-at-scheffler-dot-co-dot-za and I will mail you the manual in pdf format (820kb). Substitute "at" and "dot" with the usual symbols to mail me.
