I am looking at the 31575 7-day timer manual
1)
Set current day and timeThe timer dial has numbers 1 thru 7 with oval circles around these numbers
1=Monday
2=Tuesday
3=Wednesday
7=Sunday
The oval numbers are located at 12 noon on each day
Since these numbers are circled with an oval, let's call them oval-1 oval-2 oval-3
Current time is always lined up with black triangle at top of dial
Right now it's Tuesday about 2am
Rotate dial until pointer is near oval-2 ... and then line up pointer with small number 2 (for 2am)
If it was 4pm, you would line up with 16 (using the European 24 hour clock)
If it was 8pm, you would line up with 20
2)
Set your on-off timesThe dial has segments around outer edge
Segments pushed-in = Timer ON
Segments out = Timer OFF
If you want the timer turned on for 2 days, you push-in the segments between those days
For example you want timer to turn on at 6 pm Tuesday and stay on until 3pm Wednesday
Push in all segments between those times.
Tuesday is located at the oval-2 ... 6pm Tuesday is at the 16
Wednesday is located at oval-3 ... 3pm Wednesday is is at the 15
So push-in all the segments between those two times, and the timer will turn ON at the scheduled time each week.
If you want the timer to turn on and off each day at same time, then you push in the same segments for each day.
For example the timer turns on your outdoor lights at 7PM and turns off at 11PM
Select a day: push-in segments between 19 and 23
Repeat the same for each of the other days and timer will follow same schedule each week
If you need more help, answer back and I will give words of encouragement.
