Blue screen i am getting a blue screen plz tell me how to get my comp working

please contact ur vendor it will cost u less then $3 to get it repaired

If you cant get the computer to uninstall this in the safe mode or if you cant even get to the safe mode yo are going have to use your system restore disk if you have one and use it to repair the windows version that you have if you dont have the restore disk you can repair the current version using the disk that you have bu putting the disk in and restarting the computer
once it starts lt it start and press any key when it asked than after that enter the f-8 key and do not say repair let it go into the install of your operating syste than it will show you your windows versiion that you have and then it wil ask you if you want to repair this version of windows now say yes and follow the screen it will repair it and reinstall the corrupted file '(s) ok

Roll back the drivers to the original that worked and leave it there. Some times an update acts more like a downdate and screws things up. If your getting blue screens, its a hardware failure and is most likely do to the drivers just not being compatible with your system config.

You could also try updating the BIOS on the mainboard and see if that improves it.

I had alot of issues with ATI's catalyst on my last computer. the program kept causing problems so i removed catalyst and installed just the drivers and it worked great after that.

hey this is some kind of OS glitch..
anoder reason mite be is if u download a software or install one..the registry entries of your comp changes and some shell files may also be modified..in this process the system registry and/or shell files may get damaged leading to what you get
here's what you can do..format your computer keep your antivirus system updated and don't install or download softwares whose certificates aren't there as in if those are not from trusted sources.

i went to control panel and typed in scan. clicked on "scanners and cameras". hit "scan profiles". chose lexmark. hit "add profile". it wouldn't save so i hit "preview first" and that made it physically scan and it showed up on the screen. after that I could hit name it and "save profile" and i got my papers onto the comp. i can't figure out how to get the papers out of the control panel format tho. also my sis's comp is high tech so i don't know how much use this will be. but if you get this far and the files copied out of the control panel format plz let me know.
