HP PSC 1210 Not Printing

Hello, My HP PSC 1210 is not printing. It shows an "E" continuosly in the Copies window. When I press the "On/Resume" button, the machine does not turn off, it stays on. I have to unplug the printer to turn it off. When I plug it back up, nothing's changed. It just stays on with that "E" showing continuosly doing nothing. The orange amber "Check Print Cartridge" light continously flashes, even though I replaced both the old black & white and color cartridges with new ones. That was always flashing with the old cartridges, so that's why I changed them with new ones to no avail. The light still flashes. Can you help me out? I do not know what to do. Thank you, Tony Mitchell

Re: HP PSC 1210 Not Printing

Hi My first quesiton to you would be: What version of windows are you using. If you are using Windows Vista you will need to go to the HP Site and download the new updated drivers for the new OS. Second Question : Are you using genuine HP printer catriges? If so make sure the contact point where the catrigr and the printer meet are clean and free of dust. Try re seating the cartriges and re calibrating th printer. I checked with HP online tech support and they backed me on this. If you have any more trouble feel free to email me : Have a great day.

I have an HP PSC 1210 All-in-one. I press the scan button and the ''on/resume'' light flashes. I press that and it turns off.

Same exact problem here. What you can do is go to Windows Photo Gallery > File > Import from Camera or Scanner . . . and then import your photo.

HP psc 1210 will not print

Please check the printer status at control panel printer properties if it is offline or ready. Restart your computer if necessary, you will notice all pending jobs will be printed as long as there is no problem with the connections of cables and drivers. Note: Do not cancel printing jobs in the middle of sending data mode to printer or queing instead you have to remove all papers on tray and wait for the error "paper out or empty" then there click Cancel. Hopes this helps.

Can't install to Vista HP PSC 1210

Use Paint.
It's not ideal, but I can scan with my HP PSC 1205 running Vista when I use Paint. Just click 'file' then 'from Scanner or Camera'.
Works a treat.
