For jumper settings

The eMachines T2200 Desktop PC uses an ECS L7VMM2 motherboard,

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=419&CategoryID=1&MenuID=50&LanID=0

Click on Download.
[ Features/ Specification/ Download/ FAQ/ CPU/ Pinout ]

Click on Manual.
[ Driver/ BIOS/ Manual ]

At the bottom to the right of - Download Site,
click on the name of the country nearest yours.

In the small window that comes up on the right, make sure there is a green dot in the small circle, to the left of - Save File.
If not click on the small circle to the left of - Save File.
Now go to the bottom of the window, and click on OK.

Look at the top of the small window to the left. This tells you where the file will download to.
When you see the file name DOUBLE-click on it, and Extract all files. It is a Zip file.
Now DOUBLE-click on the red Adobe PDF icon, next to the extracted files.

Need guidance with this post in a Comment.

A) JP5 jumper is right below the Ram Memory slots.
CPU Frequency Jumper.
(Processor; change internal clock frequency - jumper)

Vertical placement. 3-pin jumper. The TOP pin is number 1 pin.

With the jumper on Pins 1 and 2, the frequency is 100MegaHertz.
With the jumper on Pins 2 and 3, the frequency set is 133MHz.

B) The small 4-pin connector above the CMOS battery is for an internal speaker. (For BIOS Beep Codes)

The small 3-pin jumper that is Horizontally placed above it, is the JP1 jumper.
Clear CMOS Jumper.

The pin all the way to the Right, is the number 1 pin.

With the jumper on Pins 1 and 2, the setting is Normal.
With the jumper on Pins 2 and 3, you are trying to clear cmos settings.

From manual;

"To clear the CMOS memory, disconnect all the power cables from the motherboard, and then move the jumper cap onto the CLEAR setting for a few seconds."

Ummm, NO.

Unplug the computer from power. Put the jumper cap on pins 2 and 3 for 5 seconds. Remove from Pins 2 and 3, and put back on Pins 1 and 2.
Plug the computer back into power.
WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.

Geez!

I don't see any other jumpers. Post back if I missed one, in a Comment, and/or for additional questions,

Regards,
joecoolvette

Tried to fit sata pioneer 216 dvd writer [it only had dvd rom fitted] it wont reconise it do I need to download drivers?. I put an old multi pin dvr in and it works fine. any ideas thanks

Go to your burning program's web site (roxio-nero-sony) and find updated drivers for your burning program. Your computer, burner and driver must all talk to one another.
Now you may also have to go to Pioneer and download any new drivers if there is a change between XP and Vista...
Just because your 216 dvd is new to you..it may have been on the shelf for a time.
Hope this does the trick for you, please leave rating, thank you kindly

I drop my external hard drive and it still working but my computer did reconised it.I open it and every thing still on place thank you

The first thing to try is disconnect and reconnect the USB (?) cable between the drive and workstation.

Shake it 'Gently'. If you hear a sound like metal against metal (disc based drives), the rocker arm is damaged and most likely the drive will need to be replaced.

Where do I find my PIN number ???????

PIN number stands for Personal Identification Number

Most Credit Cards have PIN number.

If you are being asked for a PIN number by a program running on your computer
you can consider that program to be dubious or hacked.

Most software vendors employ a PRODUCT KEY , not a PIN number

PIN numbers are for financial transactions.

If you are being asked your PIN number by a program other than your BANK
or a site that you are purchasing software from , then you are most likely being
tricked by an evil hacker and should not proceed to give them any PIN number.

If this is your credit card or bank card or debet card you are talking about.

Your pin number will be located on the back of the card , the last 3 digits.

Check with your email account provider is you mailbox valid and running. Also some sites will not accept free global email account providers, so you have to have mail account with your local internet provider which almost geunine and acceptable by those sites.
