LG Incite Wifi Setting

settings
connections
WIFI
connect to "internet"
authentication "open"
encryyption "WEP"
I let it assign it's own IP address


Start -> Settings -> Connections tab
WiFi -> Network Adapters tab
select "The Internet" and then select Broadcom 802.11 DHD Network Adapter

and

Start -> Programs -> Tools -> Proxy Manager
click on "Disable Proxy" and hit OK



Also, make sure you set the browser Home address to a valid address (otherwise it would complain about a connection loss each time you open the browser)..

If that doesn't help you then your lost.

you have a network key on your wireless router its normal pass code for at&t custumers is your telphone number hope this helps

For WiFi, first after enabling WiFi, diable your phone using the Wireless manager to make sure you are only using WiFi. Do this at least until you are getting an understanding of this so you are not using the ATT pay MediaNet by mistake. Now, after connecting with your router or a hotspot router, you will also have to diable the proxy on the ATT Incite. Go Start/Progams/Tools/Proxy Manager, then diable proxy to use IE on your or any other WiFi connection. Hope that helps!

I don't know about all the other "fixes" like changing setting using other programs...I just used jesolins solution and my netfront browser took me directly to the internet! Thanks! Saved me $30 a month!
