My installation disk starts to download but when it gets to about 51% and stops loading os imaging and then we get a message saying recovery coping system files failed...

Most file copy errors are RAM related. things to try are as follows:
  1. Clean the CD with a soft dry cloth and ensure no scratches or smears on data surface.
  2. If cleaning CD has no effect, then try system with individual memory modules and see if error is only associated with 1 memory module (The install error is normally copying files to or from RAMDRIVE created in RAM during install process)
  3. Run hard drive diagnostics

Some OS files not coping

your CD Rom drives could be dirty if if they are not copying files from the CD's correctly. tipically while installing an OS the CD's are moving alot of data very fast and can encounter errors if drives are dusty or dirty or even if the cd's have small scratches or smudges.
I recommend a CD/DVD drive cleaner disk, or fresh copies of your CD's.
You May also have to replace your drives, you can buy replacements fairly cheap from online retailers such as or on auction sites.

You have to load the software from the installation CD BEFORE you plug the Go Gear into the computer. Go ahead and unplug your mp3 player, load the software, then replug it.

Installing microsoft office enterprise 2007 ge response setup cannot find office en-us/ browse to valid installation source

If you are using a cd make sure there are no smudges on the data side (side with no writing), if that doesnt work try coping all the files from the cd to a folder and try installation from there.

I can not sucessfully install a game Brain Power to my dell inspiron 530s

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble installing BRAIN POWER. There is several things to look at. First how old is your computer. If it is more than 3 years old look at the speed of the CD-ROM. One of the copy protections that some compainies use is call over burn. What this means is that they burned data on the CD past the original 650mb. Normally you have this problem with the old 48x and lower CD-ROM drives. Granted you could have a newer compuer that has this problem it has to do with the drive that is in the system. Note the newer drives can support 700mb disks.

I myself have a drive that has the same problem on one of my gaming systems granted I have to CD-ROMs in that system so I do not have a issue, I just use the other drive. Now if you do not have another drive in your computer what you will need to do is go to another computer and copy the files off the disk. At this point you will need get the files back to the computer that you want to install the software on. You can do this normally with a USB Thumb Drive. Note if the program in question has more than one install disks you will need to copy them a well to the folder that you put the files from the first disk in because if you do not do this the install will not be able to find the files properly. Additional note you can try coping the files off on your computer but in most cases the issue with the install is that the drive can not read the disk, so you most likely you would get a disk read eror when coping the file off.

The other thing to make sure there is nothing wrong with the disk its self because this can cause problems as well.

Hope this helps, if you have any more questions on this and/or problems feel free to ask.

My notebook stopped working when it was updating some thing of Vista. It was in stage 2 1 %. When I tried to restart it, I couldn't get past the restore system. It didn't work. It says that the problem...

You mean, it froze up in the middle of doing stuff with no indication of heat having caused the problem?

It sounds like you get to completely reinstall Vista and the update, if it can't cope; or of course you could restore from an image and start the update again.

Your data should be fine, but you probably have a backup anyhow; if not, just install, but on a new hard drive so you can copy the data and drivers from the old HD (by mounting that in an external USB thing, for example.)
