Question about Interactive Health Ijoy 130 Human Touch Robotic Massage Chair Recliner Black
We found a repairman!!
Our 10 yr old EMS-9 Interactive Health chair just stopped working about 6 mos ago. After getting no help at all from Interactive Health, except to buy a new chair (!), we finally found a man who fixed it. It was a pinched wire in the remote. A simple fix. He tried to charge us only $20.00! (We gave him much more, it was worth it) We love this chair! You would think that the company would be more forthcoming with repair options if they want people to recommend their products. Anyway, hope this helps someone else too. I have an ems.6 chair for bout 16 yrs, still works except the the band that goes around the bottom which makes the rollers go up and down pops off. (i took apart the back and whenever it put it back on, it just keeps popping off, when i use the rolling up and down feature. It stays on when i am only using the rollers.
I think maybe i might need a new band.
what do you guys think and if so, where can i find a new part to test out this theory?

I also need a hand control as it broke in two.Would snyone know can I just glue the two pieces?

I have three EMS-12 unused directly from the factory (three different colors).. They look new but have been in boxes for many years and work perfectly.. I can sell one of the chairs for $600 each plus tax with P/U in San Diego..

I own the same model and started having some similiar problems you seem to be having. My chair had a three year warrenty which i couldnt use when it started to stop working, but i called the customer service and was told that this model was no longer being made and that nothing could be done. I called quite a few times trying to get different anwsers but they were all the same. So you may want to consider a new chair. Sorry :(
