I bought a Spy brand one-way car alarm/remote start for my wife's 09 Camry. Everything is installed, and works except for the remote start.

Installations of this nature are usually reserved for professionals. However, get out your installation manual. You will also need two single pulse double throw relays and some diodes. First you will need to locate the ground when running. This wire might be labeled " (-) third ignition". The first relay for the starter will be wired like so: starter wire to 86, fused 12 volts to 87, 30 out to vehicle second starter wire, 85 to ground when running. The second relay will be wired 86 to vehicle ignition, 87 to fused 12 volt, 30 out to second ignition, and 85 to ground when running.

So the big one with the screen on me took a **** awhile back. so i was only using the black one, but now the dog ate it? If i use the key the alarm goes off. HOW DO I TAKE THIS OUT MY CAR?

Hello my name is Israel and I will help you. You can still use the alarm but you will have to do a couple of steps. Enter the vehicle. The alarm will sound. Insert key and turn to the 'run" position. Push or set the override button and alarm will turn off. The remote should be easy enought to replace. If you want to replace it, let me know and I will try my best to get a remote for you. Good Luck.

I have a new prestige APS-57C remote starter installed in a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe and I have a problem with the factory alarm going off every once and awhile. The majority of the time everything is fine,...

Maybe the installer did not hook up the remote starter unit to disarm the factory security system upon entry or remote-starting. Ask the installer to double check that part of the install as it would cause the factory security to trigger even though you unlocked the vehicle with the remote start unit remote.

How do i get the lock and unlock on the screen to work on a viper 479v remoet

The two-way remote responds when in range. Also, the system that it is programmed to must be a two-way unit. If this remote was purchased and programmed to an alarm/remote starter, the alarm/remote starter must be capable of two-way communication.

Bulldog remote start brain module acting crazy!, turns alarm on!

I have installed 4 deluxe 200s ( 2 on my vehicles and one on each of my parents) and I seem to have problems with the remotes dying but no other problems. I had to buy another unit just to get the remote so now I have an extra deluxe brain brain. If you are interested email me If you decide to get a different unit I might be interested in buying your remote.

I have installed a bull dog remote starter on my 2001 grand am. everything starts fine but car wont shut off with the key.

This would only happen if you did not install the brake cut off switch. You will be able to shut the car off with the key after 15 minutes or with the remote.

MarkX alarm

being you have alot of alarm fetures installed already, try a valet alarm, that alarm should help you out... and it will work with all your systems, if not that one then there is a 3 wire alarm that you can google search that you can install it is only an alarm, all the other features you have already installed would need their own key fobs.. but if you want to use one key fob, try the VALET alarm system cause most you can reprogram the fob to do the remote start, and connect it to the immobillizer no problem... but i would still take it to a shop that specializes in alarms cause if you do not know what you are doing, then you could lock up the starter, or not be able to start the car if you cross the wrong wires... but to answer the other question YES it is possible...

Remote starter will not restart my vehicle

If you have an alarm, or remote start with an alarm, you need to press and hold thethe valet button which would be hidden under the dash on the driver side, as you are turning the key sometimes remote starts have a starter disable or an alarm option to reset it that is what needs to be done, some systems even if you dont have an alarm go into a valet mode if your remote battery is old or you never reset it or the alarm kicked in or what have you. if this does not work for you then you will need to bring it to a dealership and have them do a total reset to the computer you can also try disconnecting the negative battery cable, but do this with the door open cause it will reset everything, and google the reset procedure for the key fob (remote).. do that reset for the remote and it should save you money from having to bring it to a shop or dealer.
hope this helps.
