The motor has a plastic gear that breaks easy. It is hard to find, but the solution is to replace the plastic gear. you can find most of the parts for this machine at http://abtecparts.com/Moulinex_Regalware_La_Machine_I.htm

Dealing with a worn or broken belt
  1. 1

Unscrew the machine's base, using a screwdriver. You may need to pry off the rubber feet to access some of the screws.

  2. 2repair-food-processor-1.2-120x120.jpg jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery('#jsArticleStep2 span.image a:first').attr('href','http://i.ehow.com/images/a00/3d/qh/repair-food-processor-1.2-800X800.jpg'); });

Inspect the drive belt (see A). If it is slack, loosen the screws holding the motor assembly (see B), and follow step 4 to increase the belt's tension. If the belt is broken, get a replacement from an appliance store or the manufacturer.

  3. 3

Install the new belt. Loosen the screws holding the motor assembly, and shift the drive gear toward the reduction gear so you can slip the belt over each gear.

  4. 4

Shift the drive gear away from the reduction gear to increase the belt's tension, then tighten the motor-assembly screws.

  5. Dealing with a worn drive gear
  6. 1

Inspect the drive gear. If the teeth are worn, you need to replace it. Remove the drive belt as described above to access the gear.

  7. 2

Remove the gear, using an Allen (hex) wrench to loosen the setscrew in the side. Then buy a replacement from an appliance store or the manufacturer.

  8. 3

Slide the new gear onto the drive shaft, and align it so the center is parallel to the center of the reduction gear. Tighten the setscrew with the Allen (hex) wrench.

  9. 4

Replace the belt, and increase the tension as directed in step 4, above.

  10. 5

Reinstall the base and any rubber feet you removed.

My plastic "wings" broke on my Magic Bullet also, andno one knows where to get a replacement

So, rather than pay for an entire new motor and wait for two weeks forthem to get it to me, I just made a new gear/broken thing. I crazyglued the old piece back together again and used it to make a plastermold...like the way people do with their kid's hands. Then I filledthe mold with JB Weld and let it dry. After that, I drilled a hole inthe new JB weld gear so that it would fit over the metal part in thebullet(that actually spins).

Glued it on (with more jb weld) and the thing has been making my smoothies and grinding my coffee with no more issues.

Sounds complicated, but it wasn't too bad. Funny thing is, the newpiece is probably heaps stronger than the cheap plastic thing thatbroke in the first place.

Do it yourself,
I'm tired of made-to-break products and could make anyone else one of these things for around 10 bucks!
