Question about GE Profile JT952 Electric Double Oven
GE Electric oven model JT952-30" continues to blink "lock" after we self-cleaned. Only cleaned the bottom oven. We can get the door to open, but it will not allow us to use the oven...can't set a bake setting. The oven "clicks" continuously. We are able to use the top oven.
Try unplugging power cord or trip circuit breaker, to cut the power to the appliance, then wait one or towo hours for the oven to cool down completely.
If the door stays locked, then there is a fault, probably a faulty temp probe that had blown because of high temperatures generated on self cleaning, or a defective control assembly. In that case you will need to call a technician to take apart the oven and fix the fault.
Enter model number here to find assembly diagrams and parts.
