Question about Samsung X15 Notebook
You may have inadvertantly muted the sound by Fn & F8 normally, but, go to the task bar and on rightside to the speaker icon and right click to bring up sound and soundproperties and see if it says muted or the slider is too low. If still no sound them there must have been something that has changed to perform a system restore to a date previous to the problem date through programmes, accesories and system tools. If still no sound then go to My computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager and look down the list for sound, video and game controllers and click '+' sign to see if your sound controller is listed, if it is right click, select uninstal and reboot pc and it will automatically install again and sound should be restored, if there is an exclamation mark it means there is no driver for your controller and you will need to go to the samsung web site for sound and audio drivers.
