Question about Saeco Vienna SuperAutomatica Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine
The machine grinds for a while and the bean light comes on. I have gone through this before with oily beans and I have cleaned out the grinding bin and the chute. When cleaning the chute, I could feel a small metal lever that goes up and down. Could that be part of the problem? Also, I read one fix that stated "inside the grinder where the coffee go down you gonna see a steel piece the coffee goes down the slot remove the old coffee residue on that part clean it good with a tooth brusch or somrthing like that". Is that the metal piece that I am feeling?
I also have a grinding issue. I use espresso or french roast beans that are oily. The machine seems to grind forever and then the red light comes on. I have two knobs in the bean area of the machine and note that this indicates I have a "micro switch" What is this and how do I determine if that is the problem and how to fix it?
The coffee bean error happens usually because the dispenser is dirty with oil. This happens often if you use oily beans cofee.
The dispenser must be cleaned. Also perform complete cleaning of the machine.
