Question about Motorola Walkie Talkie 2-Way Radio
My boyfriend has a motorola walkie-talkie, and his brother has an FM (iCom) 2-way radio. I also have a 2-way radio. I was wondering if there is a web site or somewhere that I can look to find the conversion frequency so that I can talk to the motorolas using my FM radio. His brother doesn't know how to get the number out of his "memory" on his radio. ANY help would be great!
For commecial Motorola and Icom radios you will need the programming software and cables to change the operating frequencies. And, of course the radios must be able to work on the same bands.
The simple answer to your question is no it can't be done.
If you're talking about the hand-held portable radios for the family radio service. You should be able to look up the operaters manuals on line and they will tell you how to program the radios.
