Where is my display ic chip positioned on a motherboard

It has integrated graphics so there will not be a graphics chip. Your graphics will be part of the north bridge chip that is directly between the cpu and memory on that particular board.

Does this board have anyway getting the Bios Cracked/Flash with.

Mike,

http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/How-to-Overclock-a-Socket-775-Pentium-4/198

From Gabriel Torres and Daniel Barros,

"On Intel i915P, and i925x chipsets, Intel created a protection against overclocking, making Pentium 4 processors overclocking extremely difficult."

Read the article.

Point?
Depends on which Intel motherboard chipset series you are talking about, and what in your mind constitutes a 'higher end CPU', for it.

Let's look at the Intel 915 series, and Intel 945 series of motherboard chipsets,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_intel_chipsets#Pentium_4.2FPentium_D.2FPentium_EE_chipsets

Let's start with the Intel 82915P through Intel 82915GV chipsets;

The highest FSB support is 800MegaHertz (Frequency rate)
Highest core technology is Pentium 4, SINGLE-core processors.

Although the Pentium 4's used may use the Socket T processor socket, (LGA 775), the chipsets will not support dual core Intel processors.

Why?
I have to 'bring you up to speed'. This is the easiest way to do it, IMHO,

A) http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/209

B) http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/235

C) http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/270

D) http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Inside-Intel-Core-Microarchitecture/313

Now it breaks down to individual Intel Northbridge chipset versions.

[Wait. One, more primer in case you are not aware;

Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_circuit

The motherboard chipset for the chipset series you have listed, uses a Northbridge chip, and a Southbridge chip.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svg

The Northbridge chip handles the faster capabilities of a computer.
Handles the Processor, Ram Memory, and HIGH-speed graphics.

A graphics card installed in a PCI expansion slot, is NOT high-speed graphics.
Integrated graphics is NOT high-speed graphics.
High-speed graphics is AGP, and PCI-Express.

The Southbridge chip handles the slower capabilities of a computer.
Handles anything installed in a;

1) PCI Bus: Whether it is in a PCI expansion slot, or Integrated Graphics attached to a PCI Bus.
2) IDE Bus:
3) SATA Bus:
4) USB Bus:
5) Ethernet
6) Audio (Sound)

The Northbridge for Intel is the MCH. Memory Controller Hub.

Lotes socket. what proc is compatible with this socket?

Lotes manufactured many styles of processor sockets.

More information is needed.
If this in reference to a laptop computer;

A) What is the manufacturer name, and Model Number of the laptop? (Bottom of the laptop)

B) What letter/numbers do you see on the Processor socket? (IF you are looking at it on the motherboard)

C) What Processor is installed? (IF you know)

There's more to it than just knowing what Processor socket is on the motherboard.
The main information needed is what Northbridge chip is used, PLUS what processor socket is installed on the motherboard.

1) Chip and Chipset are slang terms for I.C.
Integrated Circuit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_circuit

2) The motherboard chipset is the Northbridge chip, and Southbridge chip.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svg

(Technology used for the motherboard in your laptop. Does not apply to motherboards that support the Intel Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and Core i9 processors)

The Northbridge chip handles the faster capabilities of the computer.
It handles the Processor, Ram Memory, and High-speed graphics.

AGP and PCI-Express are two examples of High-speed graphics.

A graphics card installed in a PCI slot, and Integrated Graphics, are Not high-speed graphics.

(PCI technology, and Integrated Graphics are slower capabilities of the computer, and are handled by the Southbridge chip. The Southbridge chip handles the slower capabilities of the computer)

{Integrated Graphics is also stated as OnBoard Graphics.
ON the motherBOARD. The GPU is soldered to the motherboard, and not to a removable graphics card.

GPU,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPU )

I know this is a bunch of information all at once.
No other way to approach the subject.

More information on the Northbridge chip, and Southbridge chip,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northbridge_%28computing%29

After you are done reading this article, click on the blue - southbridge, at the end of the first sentence, for more info on the Southbridge chip.

{The Southbridge chip handles the slower capabilities of the computer.
A) Handles anything connected to the PCI bus. The PCI slots, and/or Integrated Graphics.

B) Handles IDE devices

C) Handles SATA devices

E) Handles USB ports

D) Handles Ethernet,
and so on )

(In any of the articles you can click on anything listed in blue, to go to more information on it)

I m using nokia e 63 n i had gone to nokia care and dey were sayng my ic is broken so tell me the use of ic n i m regularly facing software corrupt problem is this problem associated with software

The IC is an integrated circuit chip and this cannot be repaired, it is possible to replace the IC chip on the motherboard provided something else has not caused this IC to fail.
This is a hardware fault and is not associated with software.
Most likely the cost to repair the phone would be high and it would be more cost effective to purchase a new cell phone.

Which machine use to repair motherboard ?

Depends on what is wrong with the motherboard.

Capacitors? (Radial Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor)
These are replaced by hand if you have good de-soldering, and soldering skills.

Visual signs of capacitor failure,

Identifying electrolytic capacitors used on motherboards,

One place to buy them,

As for replacement of the motherboard chipset, (Northbridge and Southbridge), plus the GPU chipset, a Reflow Machine is used.

Example of a BGA Rework Station, (A type of Reflow machine)

http://www.bga-rework.us/

[GPU = Graphics Processing Unit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPU

When a GPU chipset is soldered directly to the motherboard, it is Integrated Graphics.
Another name for Integrated Graphics is OnBoard Graphics.
ON the motherBOARD.

A GPU chipset can also be soldered to a graphics adapter card.
Graphics Card, or Video Card.

The three major manufacturers of GPU's are Intel, AMD ATI, and Nvidia.

What is the differance betweeen intel orignal or intel chip set

Hi,

In an original motherboard, the entire product is manufactured by Intel, i.e. the circuit board and the ICs (integrated circuits) which are on it. Whereas, when we talk of a `chip set' it means some other company, for instance Mercury or D-Link, has designed and made the circuit board but has used the chipset provided by Intel.
When we refer to a `chipset" it is a set of ICs that primarily controls the processor, memory and other main functionalities. However, the third-party company that has designed the circuit board can use other company chips for audio and other communication peripherals. The major point to note here is the design of the mainboard. A good design should provide a good air flow and a perfect selection of peripheral and communication chips to have optimal performance.
Buying a chipset board is always a compromise. However, third-party companies, like the ones mentioned above, do make some good boards that are cost-effective and reliable too
