Trouble synching new Wii Fit

I went through the procedure in the manual and thought I had been successful in following the instructions because now the Wii Fit logo shows up where the Disc Channel logo used to be. Unfortunately though, when I try to play, the screen put up a diagram and asks me to sync the board with the console (which I thoght had already succeeded in doing) but when I try to sync it again, there is no light on the board and nothing happens.

This must be done with each wii fit compatible game disk.
This procedure can be completed only if a compatible Game Disc is running in the console.

  • Press the EJECT Button on the front of the Wii console and remove any
game disc if necessary. Insert a Wii Balance Board compatible Game Disc.
  • Use the Wii Remote to select the Disc Channel on the Wii Menu screen and select START.
  • Open the SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console.
NOTE: Close the SD Card slot cover when you are finished with the synchronization procedure.
  • Remove the Battery Cover on the bottom of the Wii Balance Board.
NOTE: Replace the Battery Cover when you are finished with the aynchronization procedure.
  • Press the SYNCHRO Button (SYNC.) on the Wii Balance Board. The Power LED on the board will start blinking (for up to about 20 seconds).

Unplug the Wii from TV and from power, wait ten minutes and restart board synch procedure.

Ensure there is no obstacle between the Wii and the board, as this can affect the wireless sygnal and cause device not synching.

If the problem persist let us know, so that we can provide more help.

How do you sync the wii fit board and wii console

  • Put four AA batteries into the battery housing located on the underside of the Wii Balance Board.

  • Insert a Wii Balance Board compatible game into the Wii system.

  • Select the "Disc Channel" on the screen with the Wii remote, and choose "Start."

  • Open the SD card slot to reveal a sync button on the Wii system. This is located behind a cover under the power and eject buttons.

  • Turn the Wii Balance Board upside down.

  • Remove the battery cover under the balance board to reveal another sync button.

  • Pres the sync button on the balance board, then press the sync button on the Wii. Do not hold down the buttons. You know it is synchronized when the blue light on the Wii Balance Board stays steady

  • Place the board on a flat surface directly in front of the TV. Face the power button away from the TV.

    Wii fit board won't work

    Hello,

Here you have different procedures on what to do if you get that error message. Please get back to me if nothing works.

    The exact procedure is:

    • Even if the battery level is strong, try the following:

Remove the batteries in the Wii Fit Board for at least 1 minute…… better 15

    Try these steps!

1 Turn the Wii console power OFF by pressing the POWER Button on the front of the console. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for a few seconds. After a few seconds have elapsed, plug the cord back into the wall outlet.

2 Turn the power of the Wii console ON. When you see the Health and Safety screen, open the small flap on the front of the Wii console to find a red button labeled "SYNC." Press and hold the SYNC Button down for 15 seconds. This will clear all the syncs on the Wii, allowing you to get a clean start to begin the process described below.

3 After holding the SYNC Button on the Wii console down for at least 15 seconds, you can now "re-sync" your Wii Remotes:

a With the first Wii Remote you wish to sync, remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote to find a small red button just below the batteries.

b Press and release the small red button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the blue lights on the front of the Wii Remote will blink.

c Quickly press and release the red SYNC button on the inside of the white flap on the front of the Wii console (picture).

d When the Player LED blinking stops and stays lit, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).

4 Start the game from the Wii Menu, then sync the Wii Balance Board from the opening screen of the game.

    Hope it helped.
