I have the same ASTAR problem

apparently they do not have the brand as you mentioned, i have tried looking for one but none so far, it will be best if you will get hold of comcast and possibly, only possible ask for reprograming to make your Astar work.

I call this a problem with a capcitor inside the unit has leaked or has bulged.. Witch is not provding the power it needs to function properly see www.badcaps.com just for a example what are bad capcitors.

Go to www.http://lcdpayless.com/ . They will make any power adapter for you for about $30.00. I have to replace my Astar LTV-2001 power adapter. Just fill out an information form including the voltage, amp and want model, and put in $30.00 as what you would want to pay. They will email you back to tell you to pay and they will ship it to you right away. Very good service.

Has someone given this person the answer for remote code. I have the same problem. We must be able to check the serial number or call Astar Help Line. What happenen?

Google Allelectronics or Hosfelt Electronics for these caps
I just ordered these at a good price but ordered 35Volt instead.
Also replacing 3300uF caps too as they are bulged at top.
