Not enough info but could be one of two things "brushes or bearings" the fits and starts says brushes need changing in the motor. If its bearings put your hand on the top of the drum and lift slightly upwards if there's play in it then it's the bearings

Wt960 is flashing F12 and wont work

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

Our wahsing machine has been fine but today went through a wash and when it came to emptying and then spin it stopped before it emptied and began to beep with 3 lights flashing. tried turning off and...

It would really help to know tha make and model, as the flashing lights are a fault code that will indicate the problem. However I'll take a pot shot at an answer without knowing the machine.

Firstly, if its a BOSCH, SIEMENS or NEFF machine, take a look at the article I just wrote here:
http://www.fixya.com/PostComment.aspx?thid=9669198&prdid=0&ctgid=130
This should tell you what the fault code means.

However, just working from your symptoms, I would say that this is simply a problem with your empty pump filter being clogged. The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum.

You need to locate and clean the filter. Depending on the model, there is probably a round filter cap on the front of the machine at the bottom (It may be behind a small door or hidden behind a clip on panel on the bottom)

If it's a HOTPOINT, the filter may be hidden. so if you can't find it with the instructions above......

If there is no filter at the front, pull the machine out and you will see a roughly oval panel at the bottom of the rear of the machine. Unscrew the 3 or 4 screws and unclip. Directly below the drum, you will now see a rubber "Cup" like bulge in the black pipe, with a plastic tube connected to a plastic pipe. The cup is held in place by a large jubilee clip. Unscrew the clip, pull off the rubber boot to expose the debris trap (A conical plastic cage with a ping pong ball in it) Take out the ball and the plastic trap, clean out the debris and replace the trap and the ball (Note that the cage may have a slot in it that locates in the rubber boot, make sure it lines up, or it won't reassemble correctly). Now push the boot back onto the fitting at the bottom of the drum where it came from and tighten up the jubilee clip, making sure that it is fitted correctly (it too may have a small slot out of it that fits around a protrusion on the bottom of the housing).

Spin Cycle - washer starts bouncing around room even though level

There are about 6 pairs of springs to hold the bottom tube to the bottom chassis. If some of these came off from designed positions, the tube won't be in balance then the washer starts bouncing off. Make sure these pairs of springs in place then you have no problem.

Belt won't stay on.

When you fit the belt, try turning the drum by hand,
Does it come off after a number of revolutions, if yes, you`ll probably find that the bearing in the motor or drum has failed allowing the shaft to move meaning that the pulley isn`t in line with the drum. New motor or bearing required. If it stays on when you manually turn it, does it flick off when the motor starts, if so, make sure that you`ve got the right belt, If it`s the wrong size, it will slip when the motor starts allowing the belt to move sidewards, hence slipping off the drum pulley wheel. Drum wont empty...have checked pump, seems to be working becasue some water is being pumped out..have checked filetr to pump and removed a couple of small buttons..outlet hose seems fine because initial...

It obviously is related to the pump and outlet hoses.
If it is a tap in waste then check for obstruction there,
Remove drain hose completely and run water though it to make sure it is fully clear.
Check inside the pump itself for any obstruction , if you are satisfied that every thing is o/k, then as a last resort, fit new pump.
Plz leave feedback for this solution.
Thanks.

Samsung P1053S error code UE

The UE is an onbalanced load fault code.. Unplug the machine to clear the code.. leave it unplugged for about 10 mins and try to run it empty.  If it persists you would be advised to contact a service technician.  Bust of luck

Washer won't spin correctly after fitting new bearings

there are no others sensors in the drum, the module (a circuit board) controls the actions of the timer, it may be one or so wires were disturbed at the time of repair, check all connections, any out of balance sensors would only work with a heavy loaded drum? You did not comment as to the motor / drum action when washing from the start of the cycle?
