BEARINGS MIGHT BE GONE. OLD JUICER AND SOME PARTS ARE NOT AVLB. OR HARD TO GET. THEN AGAIN IT MIGHT BE SOMETHING SIMPLE. MINE IS FROM 1990 AND I DO MY OWN REPAIR. NOT WORTH IT TO PAY FOR IT.
REMOVE THE 4 BOTTOM SCREWS AND TRY IT AGAIN. YOU CAN SEE THE SEAM AROUND THE JUICER WHERE IT SEPARATES. YOU CAN GET THE SWITCH FROM WARING AT 800 492 7464. MINE IS FROM 1990 AND RUNS LIKE NEW. DO ALL MY OWN REPAIRS.
REMOVE THE COVER BY ROTATING AND THE CLUTCH NUT HOLDING DOWN THE CUTTING BLADE. EVERYTHING LIFTS OFF. CLEAN ALL DISCOLORED PARTS BY FIRST BOILING IN A SOLUTION OF OXI CLEAN AND WATER, THEN SCRUB WITH A SAFE ABRASIVE SPONGE. SHE WILL SHINE UP NICE.
