Hey there, Sound like you have contact problems on the pad., or a custom key setting issue. Fortunately you can still access anything you need with the touchscreen. Go to setup icon and check all you settings to ensure it wasn't selected to do so.. If not then your issue is related to the contacts under the menu button which can sometimes get dirty or wet. Keep in good dry area for awhile and exercise that button to try and clear the issue. Still no luck? Time for service, and perhaps your provider will give you a free upgrade.
1st option:Here's what you'll need to do. On the XMB on the PS3, go to Settings, then go to Accessory Settings, then Register Bluetooth Device. Select Register Headset/Microphone/Headphones. Press X to accept the 'Start Scanning' mode for the PS3. Then.... With the Motorola pairing can be clumsy. It involves pressing and holding the call button while the microphone is folded closed, then quickly opening it up once the blue LED comes on. 2nd option:Hold down the answer call button on the bluetooth headset until the light is solid (not flashing). When the PS3 detects your headset, it'll ask for a pass. The pass should be "0000" (four zeros).
Motorola blue-tooth devices are mostly meant for Motorola phones. This particular device is restricted to be used by Motorola phones. No matter how hard you try the devices will not pair because they are not compatible. There are certain blue-tooth devices which are universally acceptable by all types of mobile phones but the MotoRokr T505 as it is dubbed by Motorola is restricted to Motorola phones. Sorry for any inconveniences. Please do rate the service delivery on this question answered.
Press the big blue button in the middle. It will take the call but you have to wait a couple of seconds. Don't answer the call with the phone though as it will not transfer to bluetooth (it's a sort of privacy option)
First thing, in your Blackberry's Bluetooth Devices list, find the IHF1000, then go to the Properties for this device. There should be a listing for Echo Cancellation - the choices are Automatic, On or Off. Set this to OFF. The IHF1000 has its own internal noise and echo cancellation - when connected the the IHF1000, your phone's noise and echo canceller should be turned off. This setting change will make sure of that.
Next, how and where is your microphone positioned? If you could post a link to an image I could view of how it is mounted, I can guide you further. Use tinypic<dot>com to post the image, or similar. Ideally, the IHF1000's microphone should be placed on the overhead console or domelight assemmly towards the front of the vehicle. It should be on the side of the console closest to the driver, and aimed at the driver. The cable comes out of the back of the microphone, so as a guide, the cable exit should be on the side of the microphone opposite of the driver.
