Dear vjmusa ,

step 1 : open ur cell phone .

step 2 : check clearly the pcb board either any damage or not

step 3 : check the components of the pcb.

step 4 : most probly the small tiny capacitor might have broken .

step 5 : check with multimeter so that u can recognize the connectivity of the circuit board

check with the buzzer .. might have loose contact with the surface of pcb
or just do small scratches on the pcb , where the buzzer touches ..
so that it will get the connectivity and works fine ..

How do I exstend the ring time on the motorola 380 cell phone ?

There is no such feature "built-in" the device, you might try to ask your carrier if they can, for some people, it works deactivating the Voicemail feature, then the phone will keep on ringing until the caller drops or you pick up.

I have the HTC wildfire for 3 weeks, i havent dropped it or gotten it wet, but for about a week now when i call people they cant hear me, i can hear them fine, but my voice to them is very very faint,...

Hello there, the problem with your phone is the mouth piece. The mouth piece has become faulty and therefore does not pic your voice for transmission. As it does not pick your voice therefore no sound is transmitted. The solution to this is to get the mouth piece or as some refer to it the mic changed by an expert. Once the mic is changed the phone will function as good as new. Although considering that you just got the phone you should take it to the shop and request that they should fix it as your warranty still covers the unit. Hope this solution has been helpful?

My phone places calls fine but the person I'm calling me can't hear me. I can hear them, but they can't hear me.

This problem is mostly restricted to one of two causes. It is either a fault with your network or a fault with your phone.
It is most likely that the network is great since you can hear the caller clearly. Also you can clarify this by checking the amount of service available on your phone when making the cal.
Most likely, there is a problem with the mic of your phone and as such your voice cannot be transmitted over the phone to the other end of the call. Did your phone drop or hit something hard recently? This could cause the mic to get broken and therefore prevent it from working normally. In this case, the only thing that can be done is to send it to a repairer so the mic can be replaced and it would wok fine. Also, the mic could be blocked by certain substances like dust and also disable the caller from hearing you. In this case you just need to clean the mic with a tiny material like a pin. Be careful while doing this so as not to damage the mic any further.
Hope this was helpful?

Old pre 911 ST7868W phone died purchase used exact replacement model and want to know how to activate relp?

if you have a spare unit, don't bother to take apart the old broken one. Contact your service provider's Tech Support and tell them you wish to replace your broken Startac with another unit and give them the replacement units ESN. They can add the new one to your account,it will replace the broken unit. All ESN's are unique. You can REPLACE one with another, you can't take parts out to (legally) substitute one ESN for another.
