Check Hemera settings and ensure that the path for the picture files is the right one, where files are stored.

Hemera usually reads the picture files from CD/DVD unit, if your system had renamed the DVD form D:\ to E:\, for example , then Emera wont be able to find files anymore.

Solutions to this problem.

Check file source folder on Hemera settings, and assign the right CD path.

Do a system restore to a date before having the problem.

If still no luck, then Windows may be corrupted, in that case , the standard procedure is reinstalling Windows, then reinstalling Hemera, and the rest of the software.

How did you uninstall itunes? If you run into an error, or your computer while your itunes was installing, it could leave things behind messing up all the other installations as well. What you need to do is first of all make sure you don't have any instances of itunes open, or trying to be opened. Then you can go ahead and run the uninstaller on itunes.

Then you will need to go into explorer (windows+e, or right click on your My Computer icon and press "explore" from the menu), navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the itunes folder completely. If you get an error saying something to the effect of "This file/folder is being used by another program, please stop that program and try again." go ahead and restart your computer, and try to delete the folder again when your computer comes back up.

Then try and reinstall it, making sure that you are downloading the correct version of itunes for your operating system.

I cannot open any pdf files to open and when I try to install an updated version of adobe I get "error 1402 could not open key", I have removed all other version of adobe and restarted my computer and...

Hello there and welcome here

Please be sure that your PDF files are not corrupted, you can example copy on or to to a usb device and try to open them in another computer

AND/OR you can try to use this portable PDF reader and see if they files get opened :
http://portableapps.com/apps/office/sumatra_pdf_portable

If they do get opened, then it is not the files that are problems with.
If you have problem reading them, then you have to run a chkdsk on your computer and see if it can restore the corrupted files. For that you simply highlight your drive where your PDF files are and choose properties, there you choose the second tab and select, "check this drive for errors" and press ok and reboot the computer. The program will run and after you can try again.
This you can also do anyway to check your drive where Adobe is installed !!.

Another possibility is to use Ccleaner, read my article here, this can maybe solve some problems you have with temp files and registry files :
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3581476-how_to_use_ccleaner_to_keep_your_compute

Let me know if anything helps here, otherwise I will try to find other solutions

Hope that helps
IF NOT then try to return here
Have a nice time over there

  1. OK, remove VLC Player
  2. Remove K-Lite codecs (VLC doesn't need them)
  3. Install these codecs designed for Vista
  4. After installing, restart, and play all video and audio files with Windows Media Player
Please vote if this helps.

Troubleshooting in installing adobe reader.

LET ME GUESS? YOU'RE RUNNING VISTA? THIS SOUNDS LIKE ACTIVE X DOWNLOAD PROBLEM. DO YOU HAVE ACTIVE X ENABLED IN INTERNET OPTIONS. THE ONLY WAY I HAD ANY LUCK DOWNLOADING ADOBE READER WAS TO FIRST " SAVE " IT TO FILE AND THEN GO TO THE FILE AND INSTALL IT FROM THERE, IT SEEMED LIKE IT NEVER WOULD INSTALL IF I USED THE "RUN" COMMAND,. ALL IT WOULD DO WAS DOWNLOAD AND QUIT. IT NEVER CONTINUED TO THE RUN STAGE AND NEVER INSTALLED. THIS IS ALL WITH VISTA HOME PREM. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. WHY ARE YOU JUST DOWNLOADING VERSION 7.0? THE LATEST VERSION IS SOMETHING LIKE 9.2 OR MORE. I DON'T THINK 7.0 IS EVEN SUPPORTED ANYMORE. MIGHT WANT TO CHECK THIS OUT. WELL, TRY THE SAVE TO FILE FIRST AND IF YOU STILL HAVE PROBLEMS REPLY TO: ARCLIGHT1217 AND I WILL TRY TO ASSIST YOU MORE.
