Question about HP iPAQ h6315/h6365 Pocket PC
I have my iPAQ 6365 and it was receiving and sending SMS fine. One day the SMS folders like inbox, sent messages, drafts suddenly disappeared. ActiveSync, MMS and POP folders are still there but now I can't receive nor send SMS messages. Voice messages received on my iPAQ don't show the "new message notification sign" on the screen. It is some sort of modified setting as I can guess because I tried the SIM card on another iPAQ and it worked just fine. ¿Could somebody help me? the settings of SMS service center and voice mail, are according to my phone sevice provider. This is the most common suggestion I've received but that hasn't worked. Thanks a lot. Brian
I think the problem come because u was install other program to your ipaq. Try it to remove other program and reset your ipaq, and than install again.

Hello Brian, The SMS folder dissapears most probably because another program interferes with it. The same happens on some HP's with camera, where this options dissapears from menu because of some user installed programs. In your case, it doesn't have to be a SMS - messaging related program, there are some compatibility issues and programs that apparently doen't have anything to do with messaging are causing this. You should first try a master reset (hard reset) (save your data first). However in some cases this doesn't help, even if the program that's causing the problem is removed, and you will need a firmware rewrite/update.
