    Thanks for your answer.
There is no security on my LAN. I think the problem is related to the network incompatibility between the PS3 and the TCP/IP windows based network.
But I discovered the PS3 is able to browse the internal network and I can see my files located on my network drive. It's already a way of doing.
Do you know if there is a PC' tool able to see the PS3 on the network ?
    Many thanks,
    Jean-Marc.

Can both USB 3 and FW800 used at the same time with two computers?

The fast answer is no. This miniStack is not a network-attached storage (NAS) device.
However some of the newer Wi-Fi routers that also offer excellent network storage (NAS) features when coupled with an external hard drive.
Additionally depending on your operating system, you can have a local area network (LAN) with your main computer (hub), with the miniStack attached to it, and have the second computer access the HDD through an older (non-NAS) router. The second computer access would slower than the HUB.

Need to get wep key for new ps3 250 gig hard drive

The wep key is for the wireless router. It is the password. If you enabled wep security on your wireless router and created a password, it is the password you created. If this is someone else's wireless network you will not know what their password is.

HOW DO YOU CONNECT THE PS3 HARD DRIVE TO UR PC?

The hard drive in the PS3 is the same as a laptop hard drive.

Unfortunately there is no way yet to connect the PS3 to the PC over a network, so you will have to remove the hard drive from the computer and physically connect it to the computer.

There are two ways that I know of:
First:
1) Take the hard drive out of the PS3
2) Open your computer case.
3) Install the hard drive just like you would any other hard drive.

Second:
1) Take the hard drive out of your PS3
2) Put the hard drive into an external usb 2.5" hard drive enclosure.
3) Plug the enclosure into your computer's USB port.
