Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I have a Westell VersaLink Model 327W hooked up to my PC...When my son wants to get on Xbox Live I just take my Westell off my PC and hook it up to the Xbox and it works great.
I got tired of havng to give up my Westell so I bought a Linksys by Cisco Wireless Router G W/ speedBooster (Model WRT54GS).
I can't get the thing to work with the Xbox. I took it out of the box and hooked it up to the Xbox and it won't work. Do I need to install something in my PC for it to work with the Xbox?
Any help is appreciated.
Does the westell router only have 1 ethernet port, if so a ethernet hub would be better, they can be baught for about £10.
You will need to input your account settings for your broadband conection into your new router for it to work, with this router all you actually need to do is connect it to the 360 with an ethernet cable, if you want to use it wirelessly you need to buy a wireless adapter for the 360 for about £30 - £60 depending where you buy it.
