Question about Creative Labs ZEN SLEEK MP3 Player

MP3 Creative ZEN uploading

I bought a couple of mp3 cd's on line and there is no problem uploading them on to my computer. when I try to down load them on to my MP3 player my player shows that it is downloading but when I look for them, it hasent down loaded at all, also when I plug the usb lead back into the computer it is showing again that the information is saved on the MP3 but I still can't find it. I hope this makes sence to someone ????

Try disabling the firewall and / or anti-virus on pc

You have to down load new software from Creative in order for the Zen to work in W7 as most of the existing software on CDs only work with WXP. Unless you bought your Zen in the last year, the software needs updating to play on W7. You have to have updated software on your computer to download the music. You must have received a CD containing all the requirements for Zen MP3 player. OR go to creative Zen site and load the necessary updated software which include the drives too

Get an original Vista operating system disc..
then insert d CD and boot from the CD!

Zen v plus won't transfer video


on the cd that came with it there should be a media player made for it so if you have the cd upload it and then try to upload videos through there ,please write back

vista is not supported . you can try this:
you should not have had to install anything for the Zen to work on Vista. If you have installed any Creative software, remove it. Reboot, plug your player in, open Device Manager, and remove the device that shows up representing your player (completely uninstall it). Reboot again, and plug in your player. It should be recognized now.

If that still doesn't work, then boot your player into Recovery Mode, and perform both a Disk Cleanup and a Reformat. Reboot the player and try plugging it in again.
if it still doesn't try another computer and upload the latest firmware to it and then try it on your pc after firmware is loade
