First, see if the battery is ok, turn on the headlights or press the brake pedal and look for brake lights. Try another key if available. (Spare/spouse set) if that does not work, then it probably is not the key. If it is not doing anything, (no lights, etc) try charging it overnight and try again in the morning. If the lights come on, then it may be a ignition fuse blown. Check all fuses. If none of this helps, you may have to call the dealer.
