My LCD monitor LG W1953TE is getting switch on and of momentarily.i m facing this problem since 5 days but did not get any solution for that. please help me.Thanks

If your graphics card supports it, and you haven't already, you may want to consider switching to the DVI output mode on your monitor. It looks like that particular monitor has trouble with its analog VGA output mode.

We were given a dell computer and that morning the people who gave it to us said it was working fine, they wiped it clean and we were goin to have to reinstall everything, but the monitor wont work plugged...

Does the light on the monitor show?
If not check poer cable - if so check the connection on the computer black cable with blue end.
Any beeping when the computer is turned on?
if so you may have a hardware malfunction with the tower.

Hey, my computer screen doesn't work when my computer starts ?

If you have hooked up the computer to another monitor and you still have no display, then your video might be bad. If you have display with another monitor, then you know your monitor is bad or the connection is bad. Be sure to check the connection, sometimes the video cable loosens and if that is the case you won't have any display.
I haven't looked up the "specs" on this system, but if you don't have any display with another known good monitor that works, you will have to determine if you have a video card or onboard video. If you need to replace the video, and have onboard, you need to have an open slot on the motherboard, there should be an open PCI or VGA slot available for a video card. In any case, if there is onboard video, you need to disable it in the setup after you install the new video card. Good luck hope this helps.

Is there any additional cable to run between the monitor and the tower with a build in webcam

That does not depend so much on the computer but more on the monitor you have attached.
Often monitors have a separate USB connection to the computer to enable external USB ports. If your monitor has such a connector, I would definitely use it - look also in the manual for the monitor itself.
The cable usually used by Dell looks like this:

The VGA or DVI cable send only signals FROM the computer TO the monitor, so you will need another connection, if you want to use you webcam.

If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

Dell Monitor shuts down with "entering power save mode" command

There are times when you need to install software for a monitor to work with a PC. If you have the software disk that came with the monitor, you can try to install. You can also try changing the power cord to the monitor. Generally, power cords for PC's and monitors are the same. If you use your PC power cord and the monitor comes on saying that there is no connection with a computer, and it was not doing this before, you can get a new power cord for the monitor. If you can, try the monitor with another PC or laptop to rule out a bad monitor.
I hope these suggestions have given you a place to start and that they were helpful.

Digimate L1918 (12volt)not activating the screen

try using another monitor instead. If that one doesn't work either, then check out the video card. If you have an add-in card then change it out with a known good one. If not install one and then see if it helps.

Does your pc recognizes your digimate 3???

Double click my computer see if there is additional drive added in your pc e.g. F:\ (for removable disk) double click. you can see everthing on your digimate3.

if it does not recognizes, remove your usb cable and plug it in. if still would not be recognize, replace cable and that might resolve the problem
