I've looked everywhere to try to figure out how to disable this, but it seems to be a feature of the camera that you can't change. My solution is to either hit OK to get rid of it, or, if I'm looking at a bunch of picutres, to view pictures using the slideshow function (without music!) - you can still use the flash and macro buttons to move forward and backward in the slideshow, but the writing isn't there!

Check your manual to find out how to disable date time etc. You may not be able to however it could be part of the system. Check out Olympus Tech Help Team on the website if all else fails

Date and time stamp on my home screen

Jack,

There is no universal answer here. It depends on whose network your phone is on. Each has their own display software. I looked on my Sprint unit and couldn't remove it.
