What card is it? There should be a 4 pin connector on the TV card that looks like the 4 pin connector on a CD Rom drive. There is also one on the motherboard that is labeled Aux or CD. You should have the cable as it should have come with the card, but if not they are cheap at any computer shoppe. Less than 5 dollars.
If the card has no connector then it handles audio onboard and you just need to select the audio source in the TV software you are running.

I have a rca model led65g55r120q tv flickers and no sound

Check all cables for loose connection, try another input for picture (DVD, BLu-Ray, etc). If none of the other inputs work then it's a panel problem (display) If one or more of the others work then it's a problem with either the tuner or the signal.

Lg LCD tv less than 2 yrs old has sound but no picture. What could be the problem? power supply, main board, etc??

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.
To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

Tv has sound but no picture, nothing shows with the flashlight test, all inputs have sound but no picture, installed a new t-con card with no results ?

Use a voltmeter to verify the different voltages on the power supply board are present within tolerance. Look for discolored , puffy or domed capacitors. Repair kits and complete replacement boards can be had from: TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy

two simple things to do:

Does set have sound when a DVD etc is connected to a rear audio/video input? This will rule some things in or out.

In the main menu somewhere are the speakers (internal ones) switched to off or external?

My vizio tv will turn on but no sound or picture. I can't control it with the remote either. I have to unplug it in order to turn it off s well.

Sounds like the mother board which is the main controller for the tv is bad now. i can tell from the description that theirs a defanite problem with the main board. if you consider the possabilities, you plug the tv into the wall you press the tv on button and the tv turns on with a noticeable click. this is the main relay tripping the power from standby to powered mode. this energized the main board that now looks for a input signal. now if their is no input signal you will see a blank screen and nothing else you may see the words no input depending on your model. but this indicated a few simple checks. the simplest is to check the signal wire coming into the tv. this may be a composite video wire or a hdmi wire. once you confirm ok signal coming in, then check that the tv is not plugged into a device that is not providing enough power for the tv to actually turn on. this would be like a monster power ups that went bad for example. id test it once by connection to a main outlet with nothing like a spike protector just to confirm full voltage to the unit. once you confirm the voltages are good. listen for any popping or crackling or hissing in the speakers. this will be a good indication of a problem with the sound controller side of the board.

If all else has failed then their is a problem with this units main board and the cost may or may not be worth it to you. if i had this problem i would actually sell this unit online for the cost of the screen and the internals. id recover most of my money that way and get a new one. good luck to you. as a side note to you. techs like myself will often look for non working units like this and buy them for parts to fix the same or like models.

My samsung HLT5075s has a popping sound coming from it. The sound comes faster and faster and then the tv makes a Bleep sound and shuts off. Do I need a new power supply or a ballast? The picture is...

I had this problem too, popping coming from the internal speakers it seemed. I typically use my surround sound so the internal audio isn't necessary for me. You can take off the back and down next too all the inputs on the right hand side (if facing tv front) you'll see a little gap between the connector housing and the base of TV, there is a little cable connected to circuit board that is red, black, and yellow i think, pull it from circuit board. this disables audio from the main board traveling to front of TV. Problem fixed. Ps ..this also cuts the red led in the front..

Sound on tv

Check in your menu, and see if the internal speakers are on or off. If off turn them on. Check connectors, and plugs on main, and audio section of the board inside the tv.reseat them,(wiggle). On the back of the tv plug a cable into one of the aux audio inputs, and put the tv on that particular input like video 1, then touch the tip of the cable. If you hear a buzz the audio is working. If that doesn't narrow it down It's time for the shop. Hope this helps, I don't have a manual for this TV.
